Nancy M. Littleton, 78, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at Southeast Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, to Pearl C. and Manna P. Windeknecht Kent. She and Robert L. "Bob" Littleton were married June 15, 1954, in Cape Girardeau. Ten children were born to their union. They had been married 48 years when Bob passed away Aug. 18, 2002...

Nancy M. Littleton, 78, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Dec. 31, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, to Pearl C. and Manna P. Windeknecht Kent. She and Robert L. "Bob" Littleton were married June 15, 1954, in Cape Girardeau. Ten children were born to their union. They had been married 48 years when Bob passed away Aug. 18, 2002.

Nancy was a devoted wife, mom, grandma and homemaker. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau and enjoyed singing in the choir. She especially liked to read her Bible and participate in Thursday evening Bible study at Calvary Baptist Church in Perryville, Missouri.

Loving survivors include seven children, Cheryl Smith, Joe, Roger, David and James Littleton, all of Cape Girardeau, Rhonda (Richard) Sauerbrunn of Jackson and Becky (Steve) Puchbauer of Perryville; a daughter-in-law, Gene (the late Tim "Tiny") Littleton of Oak Ridge; four grandchildren, Micheal Cruz, Travis (Jessica) Smith, Amanda Littleton and Hannah Steinnerd; two step-grandchildren, Rachel and Jimmy Slinkard; four great-grandchildren, Michelle Cruz, Micheal Cruz II, Leighann Smith and Travis Smith II; and two siblings, Elaine Winder of Marquand and Jerry Kent of Cape Girardeau.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three children, Pam Littleton, Tim "Tiny" Littleton and Richard Littleton (infant); and four siblings, Charles and Jr. Kent, Blanche Brennecke and Jean Smith.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Joyce officiating. Interment will be in Apple Creek Presbyterian Cemetery in Pocahontas.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Southside Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau or Apple Creek Presbyterian Cemetery.
