NANCY DEWITT

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Nancy Dewitt of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. Johnny Hester will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Dewitt, 60, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Nov. 29, 1940, at Marston, Mo., daughter of Woodrow and Pauline Watson. She and Charles E. Dewitt were married Aug. 18, 1956, in Hernando, Miss.

Dewitt was manager of the kindergarten cafeteria at Sikeston Schools.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sandra Bowles of Suffolk, Va.; a sister, Linda Tubbs of Key West, Fla.; two brothers, Earl Watson of Sikeston, Raymond Watson of Fitzgerald, Ga.; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.
