NADINE O. LEVAN

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Nadine O. Levan of East Prairie will be held at 10 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Levan, 86, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1994, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 31, 1908, at Dogwood, daughter of W.C. and Dora McMikle Pope. She and E.E. Levan were married July 16, 1928. He died July 7, 1963.

Survivors include a sister, Grace Stepanek of East Prairie; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.
