NADINE L. HURT

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Nadine L. Hurt of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Marvin Butrum will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Hurt, 85, died Friday, Sept. 3, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 23, 1908, at Blodgett, daughter of Trusvan and Lucy Butrum Lee. She and Henry J. Hurt were married Sept. 1, 1926, at Morehouse. He died Feb. 2, 1973.

Hurt had managed a grocery store at Diehlstadt, and was a stamper at International Shoe Co. here. She was city clerk at Diehlstadt 20 years. Hurt was a member of Temple Baptist Church here, and former member of Diehlstadt Southern Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School many years.

Survivors include a brother, T.W. Lee of St. Louis, and a sister, Helen Lee of Sikeston.
