EAST PRAIRIE -- Nadine B. Swann, 73, of East Prairie, died Friday, Dec. 8, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born May 5, 1922, in Mississippi County, daughter of Manuel Bell and Vivian Octavie Grider Bell. She married Arvin G. Swann, who preceded her in death.

Swann was a member of St. James General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Swann Sr. and Rodger Swann of East Prairie; a daughter, Linda Sumpter of East Prairie; two brothers, John Bell of East Prairie, Paul Bell of Bandana, Ky.; two sisters, Irene Allen of East Prairie, Alma Archie of Hickman, Ky.; 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister, stepmother, two stepsisters and a stepbrother.

Friends may call today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
