DEXTER, Mo. -- Myrtie Teel Huddleston, 86, of Dexter died at Dexter Memorial Hospital Friday, March. 23, 2001.
She was born May 15, 1914, at Lilbourn, Mo., daughter of Paul and Eveco Celia Joyce Chamber.
She married Joseph Raymond Teel Sept. 30, 1928, at Risco, Mo. He died March 19, 1977. She married William T. Huddleston Oct. 13, 1978, in Bernie, Mo. He died June 16, 1993.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne Teel of Phoenix, Ariz., Melvin Teel of Bernie, Mo., and Gary Teel of Dexter; eight daughters, Louise Winchester of Gideon, Mo., Martha Evelyn Huddleston of Robey, Mo., Shirley Pickett, Wanda Truax and Linda Thacker, all of Bernie, Thelma Weathers and Wilma Teets, both of Dexter, and Loretta Stanberry of Pacific Mo.; a brother, Charles Chamber of Dexter; a sister, Lela Mann of Dexter; 46 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Marvin Wayne Gilmore of Broseley, Mo., officiating. Interment will be in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
