PATTON, Mo. -- Myrtle Limbaugh, 98, of Kirkwood died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Garden View Care Center in Valley Park, Mo. She was born Feb. 3, 1907, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Hugh Otto and Etta Lauretta Gohn Stathem. She and William Sample Limbaugh were married Aug. 27, 1927. He died May 10, 1978...

PATTON, Mo. -- Myrtle Limbaugh, 98, of Kirkwood died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Garden View Care Center in Valley Park, Mo.

She was born Feb. 3, 1907, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Hugh Otto and Etta Lauretta Gohn Stathem. She and William Sample Limbaugh were married Aug. 27, 1927. He died May 10, 1978.

Limbaugh taught at Sylvan and Prospect schools in Bollinger County during the 1920s. She was a member of New Trace Creek Baptist Church. She was formerly of Patton.

Survivors include two sons, Leonard Limbaugh of St. Peters, Mo., Harold Limbaugh of Germantown, Md.; a daughter, Annette Wipfler of Ballwin, Mo.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo., Wednesday from noon to service time.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Charles Hawn officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
