DEXTER, Mo. -- Funeral for Myrtle Louise Jenkins, formerly of Dexter, will be held at noon today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Clifford Wray will officiate. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
Jenkins, 80, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at Oak View Nursing Home in Benton, Ky.
She was born Nov. 22, 1920, in Freeport, Ill., daughter of Louis E. and Lillian Crowe Miller. She and Lon Jenkins Jr. were married Jan. 16, 1945, in Piggott, Ark. He died March 15, 1983.
Jenkins was a former bookkeeper at Midwest Waste Co. in Dexter, and member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include a sister, Rose Masters of Livonia, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
