MYRTLE HOPKINS

MARBLE HILL -- Myrtle H. Hopkins, 97, of Marble Hill died Friday, May 21, 1999, at Bond Nursing Care Center.

She was born Feb. 7, 1902, at Coldwater, daughter of Elige Lee and Mary Susan Duncan Golden.

She and Troy Hopkins were married March 27, 1921. He died Feb. 25, 1973.

Hopkins was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a sister, Louise Ellinghouse of Fredericktown, and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, seven brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
