ANNA, Ill. -- Myrtle Beck, 71, of Anna died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at her home.
She was born Dec. 14, 1928, at Cobden, daughter of Francis and Mae Hunsaker Hartline. She and Harold P. Beck were married Dec. 31, 1953, at Jonesboro. He died Aug. 16, 1990.
Beck was the volunteer coordinator at Clyde L. Choate Mental Health and Development Center 35 years. She was a member of the Church of God Worship Center.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Walker of Anna, Ty Walker of Cobden; two brothers, Jim Hartline of Muleshoe, Texas, Curtis "Corky" Hartline of Carbondale; and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
