Funeral service for Myrtle A. Clendenin, formerly of Portageville, will be held at 2 p.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Chapel in Portageville. The Rev. Bob Bullock will officiate, with burial in Portageville Cemetery.
Clendenin, 95, died Saturday, April 16, 1994, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Sept. 9, 1898, in Chester County, Tenn., daughter of Charlie and Rosie Morris Jeter. She married Arthur Clendenin, who died Aug. 7, 1961.
Survivors include a son, Charles Clendenin of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Rosa Quick of Cape Girardeau, Helen Hoxworth of Portageville; a brother, William Jeter of Trenton, Tenn.; a sister, Emma Jeter of Humboldt, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
