ANNA, Ill. -- Myrna L. Carter, 71, of Anna died Friday, June 4, 2004, at her home.
She was born Sept. 5, 1932, at Marion, Ill., daughter of Edward and Mildred Brazill. She and Crawford Eugene "Red" Carter were married Dec. 18, 1954; he died March 5, 1978.
She had worked at Union County Hospital as a cook and at Florsheim Shoe Company. She was a member of the Anna Moose Lodge.
Survivors include four sons, Clay, Rick, Jamie and Kelly Carter of Anna; a daughter, Sandy Thompson of Jonesboro, Ill.; a sister, Rita Morgan of Winterhaven, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Anna Cemetery.
