CHARLESTON -- Myretta L. Sinks, 83, of Charleston died Monday, May 1, 2000, at Charleston Manor.
She was born Sept. 11, 1916, at Wolf Island, daughter of Henry and Odessa Lee Clark. She married James Sinks, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, James Sinks Jr. of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Barbara Moore, Dorothy Sinks, Earnesthene Woods and Kathryn Sinks, all of Charleston; a sister, Lula Williams of Charleston; a brother, Jeffery Clark of East St. Louis, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.L. Posey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time.
