SIKESTON, Mo. -- Myra Myers, 68, of Sikeston died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at her home.
She was born June 9, 1935, in McMullin, Mo., daughter of Lanus and Myra B. Minner Propst. She and Arnold "Bud" Myers were married June 11, 1955.
Mrs. Myers was a 1953 graduate of Sikeston High School and attended Memphis State University.
She taught piano lessons many years in Sikeston before retiring. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star and Allegro Music Club.
Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kim Myers of Sikeston; a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Rodney Arnold of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Rob Propst of Sikeston; three grandchildren, Laura Talley of Sikeston, Alicia Arnold and Preston Arnold of Cape Girardeau; and two great-grandchildren, Danielle Talley and Gabrielle Talley of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Propst.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, with Easter Star service at 7:30.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. David Craig, pastor of Powerhouse of God Church, and the Rev. Bill Koch, pastor of First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
