ADVANCE, Mo. -- Myra May McElmurry, 96, of Advance died Friday, July 13, 2007, at Advance Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 15, 1911, at Morley, Mo., daughter of Earley and Lollie May Bynum. She and Harry Ray McElmurry were married Sept. 27, 1937. He died Aug. 16, 1981.
McElmurry spent most of her life in Scott City and was a member of First Baptist Church. She moved to Advance in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Frank "Buddy" McElmurry of Jackson; a daughter, Marilyn Pickett of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Monday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo.
Graveside rites will be at 11 a.m. Monday at IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
