Muriel Wiseman

FARMINGTON, Mo. -- Muriel K. Wiseman, 90, of Farmington died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

She was born Feb. 3, 1921, at Brownwood, Mo. She and Charley Wiseman were married July 4, 1940. He preceded her in death Dec. 21, 1985.

Wiseman formerly lived at Duck Creek and Advance, Mo. She owned Wiseman's at Duck Creek 30 years, and attended Egypt Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry and Randy Wiseman of Farmington; a daughter, Bonnie Chadwell of Farmington; two brothers, Robert "Sonny" Arnold of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Joe Arnold of Duck Creek; two sisters, Mary Carter of Duck Creek, Wanda Ross of Melbourne, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held Tuesday at Morgan Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico, with Wayne Burchett officiating. Burial was in Bollinger County Memorial Cemetery at Marble Hill, Mo.
