SIKESTON -- Muriel Wingfield Perry, 74, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born March 18, 1917, in Reno, Ark., daughter of Joe and Bertha Miller Kirby. She married Clarence Wingfield March 26, 1942, at Bloomfield. He died June 29, 1987. She married Marvin Perry Sept. 30, 1989, at Bell City.
Perry had been a cook at Bell City Head Start, Bell City Schools, and Bell City Nursing Home. She was a member of Bell City General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Harvey Wingfield of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Linda Gaither of El Paso, Texas, Murlene Patterson of Bell City; two stepsons, Charles Wingfield of St. Louis, Joe Wingfield of St. James; two brothers, John Kirby of Milan, Ill., Wilburn Kirby of Galesburg, Ill.; three sisters, Eunice Hency of Benton, Letha Livingston of Bell City, Anna Campbell of Coffeyville, Kan.; 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, sister and granddaughter.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Doyle Stogsdill will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
