EAST PRAIRIE -- Mucie B. Hodges, 85, of East Prairie, died Tuesday, June 25, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Sept. 12, 1905, in Kentucky, daughter of William and Ada Furgerson Massey. She married Rube Hodges July 19, 1978. He died April 23, 1982...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Mucie B. Hodges, 85, of East Prairie, died Tuesday, June 25, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 12, 1905, in Kentucky, daughter of William and Ada Furgerson Massey. She married Rube Hodges July 19, 1978. He died April 23, 1982.

Hodges was a member of First General Baptist Church here.

Survivors include two brothers, Search Massey of Columbus, Ky., Joe Massey of Alton, Ill., and a sister, Mattie Beshears of Columbus.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. The Revs. Ernest Brown and Mickey Deal will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday.
