MRS. PAULINE HOLDERFIELD

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Mrs. Pauline Holderfield of Mounds died Friday, July 19, 1991, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

She was born June 28, 1918 in Pulaski County, daughter of Robert and Etta Wright Johnson.

She married John Holderfield on Nov. 27, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1982.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mounds.

She is survived by four daughters, Sue Kerr of Mounds, Betty Cochran of Cobden; Barbara Crite of Tamms, and Bonnie Johnson of East Cape, Ill.; a son, John Holderfield Jr., of Minooka, Ill.; a brother, James Johnson, Mounds; two sisters, Lora Hargan of Mounds and Mildred Peeler of Anna; 18 grandchildren; and 34 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three daughters, a sister and two brothers.

Service for Holderfield will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Mounds, with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating. Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 5 to 8 p.m.
