Mozelle Spencer, 86, of Carrier Mills, Ill., died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1993, at her home.

She was born June 6, 1907, in Saline County, Ill., daughter of John and Elizabeth Baker Maple.

Spencer was formerly of Cape Girardeau, and retired from Woolworth here.

Survivors include a son, Eugene Spencer of Carrier Mills; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Harl Cockrum will officiate, with burial in Sunset Lawn Cemetery at Harrisburg, Ill.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
