SIKESTON, Mo. -- Morris Dale Hazel, 86, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 14, 1918, in Springfield, Mo., son of Arthur Dale and Ruby Gale Letterman Hazel. He and Helen Birdie Stiles were married in January 1986 in Seattle, Wash.
Hazel had been a systems engineer with Boeing.
He was a veteran of World War II and participated in the Battle of Midway. He served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as chief E-7.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Hazel of Brimington, Wash., John Hazel of Sikeston; a daughter, Patricia Rowland of Georgetown, Texas; a brother, Carl Hazel of Sikeston; a sister, Dorothy Richardson of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
There is no service.
