Morris Henry Eberhart, 89, of Farmington died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at Chateau Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 20, 1910, in Cole County, son of Archie V. and Georgia Morris Eberhart. He and Mildred Steffens were married July 1, 1931. She died July 11, 1985.
Eberhart was employed by Missouri Department of Liquor Control, retiring in 1978.
He was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge, and longtime member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington.
Eberhart lived in Farmington many years before moving to Cape Girardeau after the death of his wife.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Bradley and husband, Robert, of Pekin, Ill., Carole Cozean and husband, Dr. Charles, of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Ruby Hardy Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Greg Robinson of Marion, Ill., Suzanne Robinson Perkins of Chandler, Ariz., Laura Cozean DeBrock of Vincennes, Ind., Charles H. Cozean III of McLean, Va., John Eberhart Cozean of Sikeston; three great-grandchildren, Erica, William and Victoria DeBrock of Vincennes.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Roy Eberhart.
Friends may call at Cozean Funeral Home in Farmington from 5-8 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Dr. David Webster will officiate.
