Morris Lee Carwile, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, in Jackson.

He was born Aug. 28, 1950, in Los Angeles, the son of Cecil and Louise Banning Carwile.

Morris was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971.

Morris was a member of the Eagles Club in Cape Girardeau, and he worked as a motorcycle and truck mechanic.

Survivors include his mother, Louise Carwile of Urbana, Ill.; a brother Russell Carwile of Urbana; two sons, Jason Eugene Carwile of Doyline, La., Jaycen Wesley Carwile of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Sara Carwile of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

A graveside service military honors service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Arcola Township Cemetery in Arcola, Ill.
