EAST PRAIRIE -- Monica Lee Hutton, 88, of Fredericktown died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Aug. 25, 1909, in Golden Pond, Ky., daughter of Joseph Pink and Betty Ann Lowery Mathis. She married Clyde Herman Hutton Feb. 21, 1959, at St. Louis. He died in 1989...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Monica Lee Hutton, 88, of Fredericktown died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Aug. 25, 1909, in Golden Pond, Ky., daughter of Joseph Pink and Betty Ann Lowery Mathis.

She married Clyde Herman Hutton Feb. 21, 1959, at St. Louis. He died in 1989.

She was a retired dietitian at St. Louis. She moved from St. Louis to St. Francois County in 1963.

Survivors include four sons, Paul Parr of East Prairie, Russell Parr of Morehouse, Jimmie Parr of Fredericktown, and James A. Parr of Albany, Ga.; a brother, J. R. Mathis of Charleston; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Shelby Funeral Home Chapel in East Prairie with Brother Martin Lucas, associate pastor of First Christian Church of East Prairie, officiating. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Farmington.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
