JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mollie E. Morgan, 92, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 13, 1905, in Jonesboro, daughter of John Wesley and Sara Elizabeth Coffman Russell. She and Rollie Morgan were married Oct. 31, 1925, in Union County. He died in 1958...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Mollie E. Morgan, 92, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 13, 1905, in Jonesboro, daughter of John Wesley and Sara Elizabeth Coffman Russell. She and Rollie Morgan were married Oct. 31, 1925, in Union County. He died in 1958.

Morgan was a member of Jonesboro Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include two sons, Everett Morgan of Jonesboro, Russell Morgan of Lick Creek; three daughters, Mary Morgan of Henderson, Ky., Jeanette Harley and Juanita Sadler of Anna; two sisters, Verla Griffin of Anna, Susie Norris of Dongola; 23 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and son.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Mitchel Morgan and Gerald Green officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
