MODEST SCOTT

ADVANCE -- Modest J. Scott, 81, died Friday, Sept. 13, 1996, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born June 25, 1915, in Salem, Ark., to the late John and Louisa Shirley Mask.

She married Robert Scott in 1935 at Salem, Ark. He died Dec. 12, 1986.

She was a homemaker and Pentecostal.

She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Lizenbee of Advance.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Malden Memorial Park in Malden.
