JACKSON -- Mitchell L. Deimund, 55, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994, at his home.
He was born March 6, 1939, in Perryville, son of Marvin and Helen Morrison Deimund. He and Nancy J. Hobbs were married June 18, 1961.
Deimund had been a carpenter with Sides Construction Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson, and member of Carpenters Local 1770 in Cape Girardeau more than 35 years.
He had been a leader with Brookside 4-H Club, Boy Scout Troop 311, and a coach with Jackson Little League Baseball Association. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Mitchell Deimund Jr. of Smyrna, Tenn.; a daughter, Michelle Leonard of Virginia Beach, Va.; his mother of Jackson, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Dr. Rodney Travis officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
