MIRTLE L. ORR

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Mirtle Lee Orr, 90, of Mounds, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 1994, at Meridian Manor Nursing Center in Mounds.

She was born Feb. 29, 1904, in Houston, Miss., daughter of William Bolden and Sarah Jennings Chandler.

Survivors include a sister, Jimmie Brown of Charleston, Mo., and a brother, James Chandler of Mounds.

Friends may call at Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Charleston after 11 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. J.L. Posey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Sparks Funeral Home at Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
