CAIRO, Ill. -- Minnie Grable, 98, of Cairo and formerly of Mounds, Ill., died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1991, at the Daystar Nursing Home in Cairo.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mounds.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Ann Verble of Cairo, Shirley Dishinger of Centralia, Ill., and Charlotte Grant of Nashville, Ill.; two brothers, Harve Mowery of Cairo and John Mowery of Madison, Ill; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1952, two daughters, two sons, two grandsons and two great-grandsons.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Cairo.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Mounds with the Revs. Jerry Herring and Kenneth Provines officiating. Burial will follow in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds.
