CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Minnie K. Dillow, 101, of Carbondale, died Sunday, July 21, 1996, at City Care Center in Cobden. She was born Sept. 6, 1894, in Cobden, daughter of Leonard and Cora Hubbs Stroehlein. She and Claude W. Dillow were married Sept. 30, 1914. He died in 1969...

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Minnie K. Dillow, 101, of Carbondale, died Sunday, July 21, 1996, at City Care Center in Cobden.

She was born Sept. 6, 1894, in Cobden, daughter of Leonard and Cora Hubbs Stroehlein. She and Claude W. Dillow were married Sept. 30, 1914. He died in 1969.

Dillow was a member of First Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star, and Elks Ladies, all in Carbondale.

Survivors include seven nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gilbert Gee officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Carbondale.
