Minnie Mae Dietiker, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at her home. She was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Oran, Missouri, to Dock and Leona Kingston Frazier. She and John "Jiggs" Dietiker were married Jan. 23, 1954, in Cape Girardeau. Minnie was a member of Red Star Baptist Church. She and Jiggs were married 60 years and worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. for 43 years. Minnie loved crafting and gardening...

Minnie Mae Dietiker, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at her home.

She was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Oran, Missouri, to Dock and Leona Kingston Frazier. She and John "Jiggs" Dietiker were married Jan. 23, 1954, in Cape Girardeau.

Minnie was a member of Red Star Baptist Church. She and Jiggs were married 60 years and worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. for 43 years. Minnie loved crafting and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, John "Jiggs" Dietiker of Cape Girardeau; a son, Gary Wayne Dietiker of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Louvena Lynn of Chaffee, Missouri; a granddaughter, Melissa Jenkins of Prescott, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Edward Lee Dietiker.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Crump officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
