MINNIE COLEMAN

ANNA, Ill. -- Minnie M. Coleman, 87, of Anna, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 1996, at Union County Hospital.

She was born Aug. 15, 1909, at Anna, daughter of John J. and Louise Bernhard Mees. She and Earl I. Coleman were married Oct. 17, 1964, in Anna. He died Nov. 29, 1986.

Coleman was a member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church, and taught Sunday School many years at the Kornthal and Mt. Moriah churches.

Survivors include a brother, John Mees of Carbondale.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Rick Hertenstein officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
