MINNIE C. ANDERSON

Funeral service for Minnie C. Anderson, 3120 Independence, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Doyle Randol and Chaplain Arthur Kelley will officiate, with burial in American Legion Cemetery at Dongola, Ill.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Anderson, 90, died Tuesday, July 26, 1994, at Chateau Girardeau.

She was born March 18, 1904, in McClure, Ill., daughter of John J. and Minnie Ellen Raines Glaab. She and Ralph L. Anderson were married June 12, 1929, in Piggott, Ark. He died July 28, 1968.

Anderson moved to Cape Girardeau in 1959 from McClure. She retired from teaching in 1966, which included three years at Mascoutah, Ill., and 37 years at McClure Elementary.

She was a volunteer at St. Francis Medical Center from 1969 until recently becoming ill, having acquired 29,000 hours of volunteer work.

She is survived by a sister, Maggie Cunningham of St. Charles.
