ADVANCE -- Minnie Buttrey, 85, of Advance died Sunday Dec. 8, 1996, at Bloomfield Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 14, 1911, in Ardeola, daughter of the late John and Flora Kelso Smith. She married Charlie Buttrey in Benton. He died in 1977. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by four stepsons, Louis Buttrey of Bettondorf, Iowa, George Buttrey of Plattsville, Wis., Ray Buttrey of Deslodge and Homer Buttrey of Advance; two stepdaughters, Irene Acord of Andover and Vickie Buttrey of Dexter; 27 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
