MINNIE A. PEETZ

JACKSON -- Minnie A. Peetz, 91, of Jackson died Friday, July 30, 1993 at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

She was born May 14, 1902 in Tilsit, daughter of William Voges and Alvine Roloff.

She married Joseph Peetz on Dec. 3, 1993. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1938.

She is survived by two sons, Earl Peetz and Marvin Peetz, both of Jackson; one daughter, Lorene Gross, Gordonville; five grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She owned and operated a dairy farm near Gordonville until 1971. In 1973, she moved to Jackson.

A lifelong member of St. James United Church of Christ in Tilsit, she was also a member of the St. James Ladies Aid at the church.

Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jeffrey Jackson of St. James United Church of Christ will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer of Emanuel United Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the church cemetery in Tilsit.

Visitation was held Saturday at the funeral home.
