SIKESTON, Mo. -- Minnette Lee Baumbach, 91, of Sikeston died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Bertrand Nursing Center in Bertrand, Mo. She was born Aug. 23, 1909, at Steele, Mo., daughter of Barry Fate and Maggie Ann Evans Manning. She and Edwin W. Baumbach were married Dec. 25, 1941. He died Aug. 14, 1960...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Minnette Lee Baumbach, 91, of Sikeston died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, at Bertrand Nursing Center in Bertrand, Mo.

She was born Aug. 23, 1909, at Steele, Mo., daughter of Barry Fate and Maggie Ann Evans Manning. She and Edwin W. Baumbach were married Dec. 25, 1941. He died Aug. 14, 1960.

Survivors include five nephews, William Parker of Houston, Texas, Sherman Parker of Sikeston, Russell Parker of Waynesboro, Tenn., Eddy Parker of Franklin, Tenn., Joe Parker of Bertrand; five nieces, Ila Brueseke of Sullivan, Mo., Janie Thurston and Bonnie Ethridge of Sikeston, Betty Manche of Chesterfield, Mo., Virginia Smotherman of Waynesboro, Tenn.; and a special friend, Sylvia Bell of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bellerive Cemetery in St. Louis.
