ANNA, Ill. -- Mina Manus, 90, of Anna died Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999, at City Care Center. She was born May 24, 1909, near Water Valley, daughter of James David and Delia N. Hines Garner. ANNA, Ill. -- Mina Manus, 90, of Anna died Thursday, Aug. 5, 1999, at City Care Center.

She was born May 24, 1909, near Water Valley, daughter of James David and Delia N. Hines Garner. She and Earl Manus were married Nov. 22, 1931, in Union County.

Manus was a retired nurse aide, and member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Bob Manus of Anna; a sister, Lois Rutkowski of DesPlaines; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, a brother, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. Friday, and Saturday until service time.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Verlee Eaker will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
