ANNA -- Milus D. Kerby, 83, of Anna died Nov. 28, 1992, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 7, 1908, in Lick Creek, Ill., the son of James Monroe and Mary Elizabeth Speck Kerby. He was married on Dec. 15, 1950, to Phyllis Wayne. She preceded him in death on March 18, 1980.
A member of the Camp Ground Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Anna and a veteran of World War II, he was a retired farmer who also had worked as a self-employed mechanic and welder.
He is survived by four daughters, Sandra Kerby of Cape Girardeau, Sharon Dillow of Dongola, Ill., Delorias Womack of Anna and Vernetta Wright of Askum, Ill.; a son, Charles D. Kerby of Mission, Texas; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Johnnie B. Gibson officiating.
Interment will be in the Camp Ground Cemetery with military graveside rites by Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 of the VFW.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
