Milton R. Pohlmann, 63, of Perryville died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1997, at his home.
He was born July 3, 1933, at Friedheim, son of Christian and Meta Zoellner Pohlmann. He and Ruth Ehlers were married July 31, 1954.
Pohlmann retired from Sewing's Service Station in 1996, and had also farmed. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim and its Men's Club, and American Legion Post 133. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Pohlmann of Perryville; two daughters, Jacqueline Abbott of Oak Ridge, Elaine Hoffman of Perryville; a brother, Roy Pohlmann of Perryville; a sister, Viola Ruesler of Friedheim; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 a.m.-noon. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Church in Friedheim with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
