SIKESTON, Mo. -- Milton Parker, 67, of Sikeston died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 15, 1933, in Winona, Miss., son of Anthony and Bertha Parnell Parker. He and Mary Williamson were married in 1952.
Parker retired from Canedy Sign Co., where he worked 30 years. He was a member of and usher at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Canalou, Mo. He had lived in Missouri since 1955.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Henry Parker of Dallas, Texas, Milton Jr., Willie and Earl Parker of Sikeston; two daughters, Mary Betts of Charleston, Bertha Parker of Sikeston; his father of Grenada, Miss.; two sisters, Enora Morris of Grenada, Willie Barnhill of Sikeston; four brothers, John Parker of Grenada, Anthony, Frank and Eddie Parker of Milwaukee, Wis.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at West End Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Mose Grayson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
