MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Milford J. Lincoln, 85, of Marble Hill died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.
He was born Feb. 21, 1917, in Hurricane, Mo., the son of William and Ivy Brown Lincoln. He married Verla Trentham on March 21, 1936, in Marble Hill. She preceded him in death on Oct. 4, 1997.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was a self-employed sawyer.
He is survived by a daughter, Violet Huff of St. Louis; a son, Michael Lincoln of Marble Hill; two sisters, Vicy Berry of Marble Hill and Odetta Niswonger of Cape Girardeau; and a grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel with the Rev. Bill Ross officiating. Burial will be at Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill. VFW Post 4900 will provide military honors.
