CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Graveside service for Mildred Wood of O'Fallon, Ill., will be held Friday at O'Fallon Cemetery.

Mrs. Wood, 84 years old, died Monday, Dec. 31, 1990, in O'Fallon.

She was born Oct. 16, 1906, at Leamon, daughter of John G. and Emma Clemetz Wachter. She married Cletus Wood in 1942.

While living in Cape she had worked at Roth Tobacco and Superior Electric. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ in O'Fallon.

Survivors include her husband; three brothers, Wilson Wachter of Crestwood, R.M. Wachter of Cape, Gene Wachter of Hollywood, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
