Vicki Clay, 85, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Robert W. and Christine Glueck Allison. She and James Edward Jenkins were married for 35 years. Vicki later married Jack Lester Clay, who passed away in 2003.
Clay was employed by Ruh's Supermarket for eight years and was a checker at National Del Farm for 20 years, retiring in 1989.
Loving survivors include a daughter, Karen Sue Hobbs of Cape Girardeau; five sons, James Jeffery (Linda) Jenkins, Matthew Noel (Susan) Jenkins and Robert Allison Jenkins, all of Cape Girardeau, Paul Christian (Pam) Jenkins of Jackson and Mark Edward (Sherri) Jenkins of Kelso, Missouri; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Monica Cobb of Kansas City, and a brother, Harold Allison of Huntsville, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, three brothers and four sisters.
Upon her personal request, no services will be held. Gifts and memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association.
McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
