OLMSTED, Ill. -- Mildred Taake Holhubner, 94, of Olmsted died Monday, Sept. 2, 1996, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo, Ill.

She was born April 21, 1902, in St. Louis County to George and Wilhelmina Luecke Taake. She was married to John Holhubner, and he preceded her in death.

Holhubner was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olmsted, where she taught Sunday School for many years.

Survivors include two sons, George Holhubner of Olmsted and Fredrick Holhubner of Urbana; one sister, Ethel Keller of Garland, Texas; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Olmsted with the Rev. Carl Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
