CHARLESTON -- Mildred R. Harris, 74, of Charleston, died Friday, Jan. 28, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 31, 1919, in Charleston, daughter of Russell and Dora Miller Stubblefield.
She was employed at Speed Queen Laundromat in Charleston until her retirement in 1979.
She married John W. Harris on Nov. 2, 1940. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Shirley Harris Love, Charleston, and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson and a sister.
Service will be held at Shelby Funeral Home in Charleston Monday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of Assembly of God Church at Charleston, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
