MILDRED PROBST

Mildred Probst, 85, of 2022 Montgomery died Saturday, June 10, 1995, at her home.

She was born April 30, 1910, at Eagle Mills, Ark., the daughter of Clarence and Mayme Hunt Berry. In 1925, she married Earl Bruster, who preceded her in death in 1932.

On Nov. 12, 1977, she married the Rev. Theodore Probst, who preceded her in death.

She was employed by Florsheim Shoe Factory for 47 years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Maple Avenue Methodist Church for many years and taught Sunday School for 13 years. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women and the Susannah's organizations.

Survivors include a son, Earl Bruster of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Judy Fluegge of Millersville; a sister, Elizabeth Turner of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Maple Avenue Methodist Church. The Rev. Jimmie Dace will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
