Mildred Pannier

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mildred J. "Millie" Pannier, 83, of Perryville died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at her home.

She was born Jan. 3, 1923, at Malden, Mo., daughter of Leo J. and Bertha M. Pitts Moonier. She and Vincent Edgar "Vince" Pannier were married Aug. 24, 1944. He died Nov. 16, 1985.

Pannier was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

Survivors include three sons, Richard and Bill Pannier of Perryville, Leroy Pannier of Kokomo, Ind.; three daughters, Patricia Reed and Betty Pannier of Perryville, JoAnn Kiem of Cutler, Ill.; two brothers, Joe Moonier of Godfrey, Ill., Jim Moonier of Perryville; three sisters, Clara Mitchell and Frances "Tootie" Church of Perryville, Mary "Bootie" Cotner of Red Bud, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. The Catholic wake will be at 4 p.m. today.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
