DELTA -- Mildred Pearl Schearf, 67, of New Haven, Ill., died Sunday, Nov. 3, 1991, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
She was born Aug. 11, 1924, at Delta, daughter of John and Clara Ulrich Thoma. She married Glenn C. Schearf May 23, 1942. He died Jan. 2, 1983.
Schearf had worked at Superior Electric many years, and was of the Methodist denomination. She had lived in New Haven 14 years.
Survivors include wo sons, Shelby Schearf of Carmi, Ill., Michael Schearf of Dale, Ill.; three daughters, Beverly Zimmerman of Memphis, Tenn., Francis Schearf of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Sandra McDowell of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Lucille Haynes of Whitewater; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; four great-stepgrandchildren, and a great-great-stepgrandchild.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Maurice Eagan will officiate, with burial in Kenyon Cemetery at Delta.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
