MILDRED N. RHODES

PERRYVILLE -- Mildred N. Rhodes, 84, of Maryland Heights, formerly of Perryville, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 1997, at Cedars Nursing Home in Cedar Hill.

She was born Feb. 5, 1912, in Perry County, daughter of the late Charles and Bessie Smith. She married Franklin R. Rhodes on June 25, 1935. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1991.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Brazeau.

She is survived by one sister, Vallie Leigh of Perryville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, two sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call between 6:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. today at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church in Brazeau with the Rev. Thomas Bass officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
