MILDRED N. GANN

SIKESTON -- Mildred N. Gann, 85, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 15, 1907, in Wartrace, Ill., daughter of Henry Stokes and Electra Irene Lucas Gann.

Gann was a registered nurse 52 years, and graduated from St. Louis Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in 1933. She did private duty nursing, and had been a nurse for Central Institute for the Deaf, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and St. Louis County School District. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in St. Louis.

Survivors include four nephews, Jerry and Bob Dyer of Sikeston, George Gann Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz., Nelson Dyer of Danville, Ill., and a niece, Shirley McPherson of Allen, Texas.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles E. Buck will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery at East Prairie.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
